I needed a lightweight tripod with a good versatile tilt for high angles and this does the trick. I wasted money buying a different tripod from a different vendor before with poor design where the angles stopped at 90 degrees which made it frustrating and impossible to adjust for versatile framing or even if you want to lay in bed and watch a video: my other tripod would not tilt down low enough so I can look up at the videos. So I am very pleased that this new one met my tilting needs.This tripod is light for travel so don’t expect it to be durable. It is more on the fragile side and should be treated with care and not handled roughly.I also like that the spreader (the “triangle” spokes that hold the legs from spreading too far out) is up higher near the top and not at the bottom. This is an excellent design choice because obstacles on the floor will not block placement of your tripod, adding more versatility for framing and composition.Because of the spreader position, the height adjustments are located on the legs below the spreader so don’t be confused that it appears to be a short table tripod (which is also useful). There is PLENTY of height adjustment to make it a taller floor tripod.It comes with a “sports camera adapter” and long screw which neither comes with instructions on how to use so I have no idea what they are for. However it does include well-diagramed and written instructions in good English;) for the tripod itself which is useful but unnecessary since the tripod requires almost no installation and is super easy to use.I will guess the long screw could be for larger devices such as iPads. The standard base of the tripod itself (before you screw on your preferred adapters) also works for DSLR cameras. They put a lot of thought into functionality of this tripod while easy to use, which I can appreciate.It is backed by 1 year warranty and 30 day replacement with customer service email so it seems you can’t really go wrong.It includes a pouch which is nice for travel since it protect parts from snagging on things and breaking or poking and possibly damaging other delicate stuff in your luggage like clothes.Overall this company did a very good job thinking through the end users needs. For this price and functionality I recommend its value.
