Solid design overall. you just need to get a good Doble face tape.The holder fits perfect in my 2021 Renegade. Unfortunately with my pop socket on it won't hold my phone securely.The product is designed very well and fits right into the space between the screen instrument panel. We didn't have to use the adhesive and it seems to hold very well. The only downside is that the phone sits a little bit low for by the steering wheel. We did switch out the phone holder to one we already had because the one sent with it seems kind of cheap and the one we had was much better. Overall, it does its purpose and holds the phone without using a vent, cupholder or sticking to dash or windshield. It was the best for what we wanted.I loved it at first, then it just FELL OFF when I hit the break out of no where! It was made FOR Honda and it fit my civic perfectly it was super sturdy in the beginning. It was easy to put in and keeps driving safe (not having to look down at the gps or hold in your hands). I’m GUESSING the issue is when having the ac or heat on that the material it’s made with will not allow it to last!! So unfortunate, like I don’t want to keep buying if they break this frequently. I bought it June 14,2022 and it just snapped apart THIS month September 9, 2022. May I have a new one sent to me?!…. It needs to last at least 1 full year before it just falls apart especially when the part that broke is not being moved!!After unsuccessfully with a few phone holders for my 2021 Highlander LE, I found this one in.. YouTube, I surprise No one bought this on Amazon. One bad thing is the tape that came with it not strong enough to hold it in place, I have to add a few more pieces and it fit perfectly. I wish the mounting ball a bit stronger and that why I took 1 star away.It’s hard to get a phone holder for a Renegade because of the position of the vents but this one fits great on the bit between the vent. My IPhone 12 in a slimline Otterbox case fits in there. It has a handy quick release phone lever. It’s a shame it’s made of plastic but then they are all made of plastic .The mount itself (the ball that connects to the phone mount) broke in a week and the part that directly mounts to the truck fell off several times. Must be a known problem because they include a whole roll of adhesive.Really good secure fit. No need to attach and damage your vents. Easy to adjust to the right angle. The best thing is that it blends with the car’s OEM interior. Only improvement would be better release springs. It is a little slow to release the phone and sometimes it doesn’t want to open.
